Women urged to wield their vote

The Women’s Electoral Lobby will urge women to take their concerns about their working lives, paid and unpaid to the polls this year at the federal election.

Women’s Electoral Lobby (WEL) Australia Industrial Relations Spokeswoman Suzanne Hammond will address the national “Our Work Our Lives” in Adelaide this Thursday September 20th and will call for women to exercise their political strength for better paid working conditions.

Ms Hammond said: “Australian women deserve a far better deal from our Government – whichever one we choose at the polls in the coming weeks.
